The Supreme Court this morning has decided that the PDP won the March ninth governorship race in Zamfara state.
Conveying judgment in an intrigue recorded by the PDP, the zenith court maintained the decision of the Court of Appeal in Sokoto that the APC did not direct any governorship primaries in front of the governorship race as was not qualified to challenge the race.
The court in a consistent judgment by a five-part board on Friday chose that a gathering that had no substantial applicant can’t be said to have developed champ of the as of late directed general decisions.
The applicant of the APC, Mukhtar Idris, had been pronounced victor of the decisions after he surveyed 534,541 votes notwithstanding contentions trailing his development as the gathering’s banner conveyor.
The PDP applicant who came next is relied upon to be confirmed as the legislative head of the state come Wednesday, May 29th. He will take over from Governor Yari Abdulaziz of the APC.
